KOMOREBI

Student work - HOAM Museum Brand Identity

Komorebi in Japanese is the phenomenon of when the sunlight shines through the leaves of trees. This phenomenon is often best seen in the early morning or at the end of the day. It is seen that forest bathing or finding delight in watching Komorebi greatly benefits one’s mental health.

Gradients in different colors were used to showcase the light passing through the leaves of the trees through different seasons. A structured design is used to represent the daily occurrence of night and day. The design was kept simple and minimal so that the colors and the angles it produces will stand out.
